Second Chicago police officer has died by suicide in as many days, police say
A Chicago police officer has died in an apparent suicide, the second in as many days and the third this month, officials said Saturday afternoon.
Michael Carroll, a Chicago police detective, wrote in a tweet that it appeared the officer died by suicide.” extremely difficult hearing news like this over and over again.
