What a place to stay
There's something about driving down a narrow, one track-road, with passing bays every hundred metres or so, that adds to the intrigue and excitement of what you will find at the end of it. On this occasion, the destination is Bolton-le-Sands Beach in Morecambe Bay, and it's certainly lives up to the build-up.
Red Bank Farm overlooks the beach, offering unrivalled panoramic views of Morecambe Bay, across to Cumbria, with rolling Lakeland hills on the horizon beyond the water, like a beautiful watercolour painting. A morning brew at sunrise or glass of wine at sunset is picture-postcard stuff around here and could rival any Mediterranean sea view on a clear day.

The cafe also has a pop-up coffee and ice cream parlour which has transformed a former horse box and offers takeaway food and drink from 9.30am to 4pm.
