Showers will start our Friday with more lowland rain and mountain snow throughout the afternoon.
It was a wet and windy start to our Thursday with wind gusts up to 60 mph and heavy rainfall. Rain totaled over an inch for some spots like Shelton and Forks. Snow totals were also impressive, with the mountain passes seeing over a foot of new snow over the last 24 hours. Showers will return overnight into Friday morning with overnight lows in the low 40s.A Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect again at 1 a.m. Friday for the mountain passes as more snow is expected.
Showers will continue through the weekend with temperatures around seasonal average. No major storm systems on the horizon into the new year.
