A strong low pressure system is bringing gusty wind, mountain snow, and lowland rain to Western Washington on Thursday.While the winds were gusty in the center and south Puget Sound areas this morning, they weren’t quite as strong as expected due to the storm arriving weaker and a bit further south than expected. Northern Oregon was hit with around 60,000 power outages, compared to the 10,000 power outages this morning in Washington.
Showers will continue through the weekend.The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Chicago Bears in a must-win game at Soldier Field in Chicago. It will be a dry and cloudy game tonight and the game will be broadcast .If you’re looking for some dry time back here in Seattle, Monday and Tuesday of next week will be our best bet.
