That was to be expected with a 1st year coordinator with no coaching experience in the NFL and only two years in NCAA FCS. A win against the Cardinals will essentially ensure the Seahawks the NFC West title and increase their playoff chances to 75%.\The Cardinals have lost 2 straight coming off their bye, including a loss to the Seahawks two weeks ago, but they are still confident and relatively healthy. Their roster is top heavy with stars in Murray, Harrison Jr, Conner, and Baker. Barron Browning is a legit edge rusher and Trey McBride is becoming a top tight end in the NFL. But after that it’s all average at best. They play hard, disciplined, team football, and are opportunistic. On offense the Cardinals are balanced and explosive. Kyler Murray is playing outstanding with excellent pocket awareness, explosive runs, and accurate timely passes. However, he still avoids throwing to the short to intermediate middle of the field. Their passing game lives outside the numbers with an occasional 15yd post, dig, or short comeback, on the hashes mixed in. They also run a wide variety of screens. Harrison Jr is everything you want in a receiver and will be a significant challenge for Seattle’s secondary. Running back James Conner has amazing vision and patience and always gets the extra yard.
