Seattle Seahawks running back Ken Walker III is considered day-to-day due to a calf injury, head coach Mike Macdonald said on Wednesday.
Walker did not play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and had follow-up testing on Monday to determine the severity of his injury. Macdonald said those tests were positive."It got more complicated as the week went on, so that's why we had to do some more tests and stuff," Macdonald said. "But right now, there are positive signs. So, we'll just say day-to-day, I think is fair, but it's not long-term.
Burns had appeared in just one game for the Seahawks this season due to a toe injury that has lingered since training camp. Wallace injured his ankle last month against the Los Angeles Rams and has missed the last four games.With the depth of Seattle's secondary, they don't need to rush either Burns or Wallace back into action. Both players can practice with the team before needing to be activated from injured reserve.
