now includes additional changes to Seattle Center to create more green space for community gatherings and updated breezeways in and out of the public park.and the city of Seattle, is now targeting a groundbreaking in June or July of 2025, with an opening date targeted for January of 2027.The new designs were officially unveiled in a small public forum last week but have not been widely distributed.
Seattle voters approved the stadium’s renovation in 2022 as part of a levy, which required the cooperation of Seattle and a private developer. The District will continue to own the property, and One Roof will help manage it as a not-for-profit building.
