For the past decade, Corina Luckenbach has run Bebop Waffle Shop at the busy intersection of California Ave Southwest and Southwest Admiral Way in West Seattle. Monday was her final day in business. "She wants her employees to make all the money that they can make," said Katie Ellison, who owns Flower Lab, a full-service florist that operates within the same commercial space as Luckenbach’s restaurant. "But for her, she is not able to take on that extra cost and she needed to be able to continue bringing home money for her family."Once that was gone, Luckenbach saw her payroll costs increase by $3.51 per hour for each employee.
