The Seattle Office of Police Accountability (OPA) completed its investigation after the criminal and civil infraction cases were finalized, leading to Dave's termination. The OPA cited violations of departmental policy related to emergency vehicle operations and the officer's duty to adhere to laws and city policies.
Jaahnavi Kandula , who was hit and killed by a Seattle Police Department officer driving in 2023. A demonstration is planned for Sept. 24, 2024 with calls for charges against the officer who is still employed with the department.
