A pimp who was involved in a rolling shootout with an Uber driver in an attempt to recapture one of the girls in Seattle will spend years in prison.
Winston Burt, 32, appears at a sentencing hearing in King County Superior Court on Friday, December 13, 2024. Burt, also known as “Dice Capone,” was sentenced to nearly 15 years in prison in connection with a rolling shootout in Seattle. He pleaded guilty to multiple counts of assault, drive-by shooting, and unlawful imprisonment.
Prosecutors described Burt in court as a violent pimp who brought women to Seattle from other states to sell them for sex on Aurora Avenue. Court filings show Burt and two other women who worked for him forced the victim into a car, then drove towards a motel in north Seattle.The victim jumped out of the car in her underwear and began asking for help from passing drivers. A police report says an Uber driver saw the woman in distress and allowed her to get in his van.
Burt was arrested the next day by Seattle police while attempting to leave the south Seattle rental home.
