SDSU sees 23 percent drop in sales compared to this time last year, hopes to boost sales with mini-season plans; single-game tickets on sale this week

San Diego State football season ticket sales are running 23 percent behind 2022 totals, with 10,307 season tickets sold so far this year compared to 13,400 at this point last year.

Last year, SDSU reached the 10,000 mark in March. The Aztecs didn’t even begin season-ticket sales this year until April, in part because staff was busy fulfilling ticket requests during the SDSU men’s basketball team’s run through the NCAA Tournament. “Hopefully, with UCLA and Boise State in town, we’ll see some demand on the single-game side as well,” Walker said.“Last year, we didn’t do a lot of group tickets because we didn’t know what the inventory was going to be like,” he said. “This year, we’re doing group functions, having larger groups come out and do tailgates and those sort of things.”
