The search for a missing person on Lake Marburg is now complete, according to the Codorus State Park. The lake reopened to the public at 8 a.m. Tuesday, the state park wrote in Facebook post. The lake had been closed Monday while crews continued to search for the missing individual, who had last been seen on the lake around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Ted Czech with the York County Office of Emergency Management confirmed Monday that the coroner had been called to the scene of the search. The York County Coroner's Office said it would release more information Wednesday afternoon once more family was notified. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission had said the "incident involves an individual on an unpowered craft who appears to have fallen during inclement weather.
" Around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, multiple calls came in for water rescues on the lake. Czech said crews were able to rescue several kayakers and people on boards, but afterward, one person was still unaccounted for.
