A search team, including the GrandCoSheriff, plans to continue its effort Friday and Saturday to find a kayaker who went missing Sunday after he left a campground in Hot Sulphur Springs and entered the Colorado River.
GRAND COUNTY, Colo. — A search team plans to continue its effort Friday and Saturday to find a kayaker who went missing Sunday after he left a campground in Hot Sulphur Springs and entered the Colorado River. The Grand County Sheriff's Office said it will use several specialized water search dogs.
Please continue to use extra caution while driving through this area as searchers may be close to Hwy 40. Around 2 p.m. on Monday, the host of the Pioneer Park campground reached out to the Grand County Sheriff’s Office to report a person, who was supposed to have checked out already, had left their vehicle at a campsite.
