A large and very dangerous hurricane pushing monster waves onto Pensacola Beach.

With double red flags, residents and visitors crowing the white sands to see what Helene had to offer.

“Just to see the mist on the off spray is crazy,” Shelbie Vaught said. “We’re just enjoying the beauty of the waves and the storm.”While people soaked in the view, multiple search and rescue teams are stationed at the Pensacola Bay Center, preparing to head east after Helene moves through.“We’re preparing to deploy to Liberty County to assist our sister counties over there and the state in any way we possibly can.” said Tompkins.
