The Fox News host spent most of his show recorded in York on Wednesday touting Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz while criticizing John Fetterman, his opponent.
Fox News’ Sean Hannity ostensibly came to York on Wednesday for a town hall, but it essentially was a campaign rally for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz.
Cheering audience members asked no questions of Oz or GOP governor candidate state Sen. Doug Mastriano, who was given just five minutes with Hannity and guest Newt Gingrich, the former Republican Speaker of the House, toward the end of the show.
Hannity then brought out Gingrich, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., who championed Republican policies and Oz. Sharing the stage with Gingrich and Hannity, Mastriano talked about his “record crowds” and Democratic opponent Josh Shapiro’s supposed failures as attorney general. Mastriano has ignored mainstream reporters throughout the campaign.
Mastriano said Pennsylvania would become a “law and order state” on his first day as governor, adding he would have state police escort undocumented immigrants sent here by the federal government to Delaware, President Joe Biden’s home state.
