Wilfried Gnonto and Che Adams are among those Everton have an interest in heading into the final weeks of the transfer window
The Blues boss is “reasonably pleased” with the deals already confirmed but added: “We are still in for certain situations to see if we can get them to come to fruition.”
A bid for Che Adams - who scored a 94th-minute winner for Southampton today - has been rejected while Wilfried Gnonto also remains among the players at the top of Everton’s list of targets. There is an acceptance that the priority remains an experienced striker who can offer competition and cover for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Everton remain interested in Gnonto despite the addition of his Leeds United teammate Harrison, who is also a wide player, this week. The clubs have been in talks throughout the summer though Leeds have maintained Gnonto is not for sale.
