EXCLUSIVE: Chris Beesley speaks to Everton manager Brian Sorensen ahead of Sunday's Women's Super League Derby at Goodison Park
With the countdown having begun towards the final match at ‘The Grand Old Lady’ next year, this correspondent asked the manager of Everton women when he first attending a fixture at the first purpose-built ground in English football and was given quite an answer. Sorensen told the ECHO: “My first game was the crazy one when Frank Lampard was in charge and they turned the game around to beat Crystal Palace 3-2 when Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the winner. I remember that game was special.
