The singer Seal becomes a literal seal in Mountain Dew’s 2025 Super Bowl ad, where he sings an altered version of ‘Kiss From a Rose’
The English singer, whose real name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, transformed into the marine mammal for Mountain Dew’s new commercial, set to air during Super Bowl LIX. The ad is part of the beverage’s Kiss From a Lime campaign to promote the tropical lime flavor of Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
“It wasn't a difficult transition,” he said of becoming a seal. “It is not the first time I've heard that joke, but it was fun. As long as it makes people laugh and makes me laugh.” In the commercial, Becky G takes a sip of tropical-lime-flavored Mountain Dew Baja Blast and is immediately transported to Baja Beach, where she lands in a speedboat. The boat carries her toward a rock where Seal, transformed into a seal, sits on top, singing the song parody.
