The Seahawks face the Tua Tagovailoa-less Dolphins at Lumen Field.
The Seattle Seahawks haven’t started 3-0 since the 2020 season. Their Week 3 win came against none other than the Miami Dolphins . This season’s Seahawks can go 3-0 if they win at home in Week 3 against... the Miami Dolphins. Seattle is coming off an overtime win over the New England Patriots, while the Dolphins not only lost badly to the Buffalo Bills, but lost quarterback Tua Tagovailoa indefinitely to another concussion.
While the Dolphins won’t have Tua, they still have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle as serious pass-catching threats, and the speedy De’Von Achane is their lead running back. Mike McDaniel is known for a creative rushing attack and incredible offensive design, so this won’t be as easy a matchup as it looks even with Thompson at QB. It’s also a reunion game for former Seahawks linebacker Jordyn Brooks, now with the Dolphins.
