Williams’ availability for Sunday is now in some doubt. As for Lucas? Don’t worry.
It was another day without power for the Seattle Seahawks at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton. The widespread damage from Tuesday’s “bomb cyclone” has left hundreds of thousands of Washingtonians in the dark, but the Seahawks nevertheless conducted practice on Thursday. The news that will draw the most attention is right tackle Abe Lucas not practicing.
“I think we’re going to let him go out there and eat and see what he can do. The real concern is defensive end Leonard Williams, who’s now missed consecutive practices with a foot injury. He’s already missed a game this season with a rib injury suffered against the Miami Dolphins. Many of the DNPs from Wednesday practiced on Thursday, including tight end Noah Fant and punt returner in a limited capacity.
