Just as quickly as Kenneth Walker III came back, he might be back out.
The Seattle Seahawks have fading playoff hopes, a second short turnaround for a Thursday game this season, and they may once again be without their number one option at running back. Having missed the previous two games with a calf injury, Kenneth Walker III left the Seahawks’ 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth quarter with an awkward looking ankle injury. He was bent backward on a tackle and immediately limped off the field, ruled doubtful to return.
Mike Macdonald told reporters after the game he was unsure of the severity of the injury but that Walker was getting imaging done. In Walker’s return to the lineup he caught 8 passes for just 28 yards and ran the ball 8 times for only 31 yards. He’s missed four games in total this season due to separate injuries and has racked up several short-term injuries in his brief career.
