The Seahawks were without two of their top receivers at practice on the eve of Thanksgiving.
The Seattle Seahawks were without two of the top three receivers at their first practice for Week 13’s road game against the New York Jets. DK Metcalf, who’d previously missed two games with a minor MCL sprain, was listed as a “Did Not Participate” with a shoulder injury. His final catch of Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals saw him absorb a sizeable hit as he held on for a critical third-down conversion, but it’s unknown when the injury occurred.
Defensive tackle Jarran Reed had a rest day, while newly acquired safety AJ Finley was a DNP with an ankle injury. Tight end Brady Russell was a limited participant after missing the last two games with a foot injury. Uchenna Nwosu has been designated for return to practice, giving the Seahawks pass rusher an opportunity to ramp up before coming off IR. Left guard Laken Tomlinson had a lightened workload but otherwise it was a resting day for him.
