Nwosu missed the first three games of the regular season after getting hurt in the preseason finale against the Cleveland Browns.
Seattle Seahawks outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu has taken a promising step toward returning to game action. Nwosu, who’s yet to play in the regular season, practiced on Wednesday. There’s no word as to what extent he took part in team activities, as the Seahawks don’t have to file their first injury report until Thursday for Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions. Nwosu was hurt on the opening drive of Seattle’s preseason finale against the Cleveland Browns.
He was illegally chop blocked by Browns starting right guard Wyatt Teller, who’s coincidentally landed on injured reserve after suffering the exact same injury against the New York Giants. Seattle opted not to place Nwosu on IR for what was projected as a 2-6 week injury, and if he does play against the Lions, that would be five weeks since the injury.
