Chuckie Keeton, who served as an offensive assistant for the Seattle Seahawks last season, has left the team to join Mike Vrabel's coaching staff with the New England Patriots.
The Seattle Seahawks continue to experience departures from their coaching staff, this time losing offensive assistant Chuckie Keeton. Keeton, who joined the Seahawks last season, has accepted a similar position with Mike Vrabel's newly formed coaching staff for the New England Patriots. Keeton's coaching journey began exclusively in the college ranks before he joined the Seahawks.
Prior to his stint in Seattle, he showcased his skills as a quarterback at Utah State, where he shared the field with Seahawks legend Bobby Wagner. Unlike former offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, Keeton's move away from the Seahawks will see him remain within the NFL. This recent departure adds to a string of coaching changes for the Seahawks this offseason. Offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb was fired on January 6th, offensive line coach Scott Huff was not retained and replaced by John Benton on February 3rd, quarterbacks coach Charles London joined the New York Jets on February 2nd, offensive assistant/quality control coach Zak Hill accepted a position as pass game coordinator at Boise State University on January 9th, and defense quality control coach Nick Perry was hired by Arkansas as defensive backs coach on January 10th.
