It’s not easy picking who’s going to The Big Easy.
The 2024 NFL season begins tonight in Kansas City, where the Chiefs begin their quest for an unprecedented Super Bowl threepeat against the Baltimore Ravens, the team Kansas City vanquished in the AFC Championship Game. Super Bowl LIX will be played in New Orleans, marking a return to Louisiana for the first time since the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers to cap off the 2012 season. We may very well see these two face off again in the same venue come Feb.
If not the Seahawks, then who? Which teams have you got competing for the Lombardi Trophy? The Chiefs and Ravens are undeniable contenders, as are the upstart Houston Texans, the perennial AFC East champion Buffalo Bills, and perhaps the Cincinnati Bengals can get back into the mix with a healthy Joe Burrow. The New York Jets are also in contention, but that’s heavily dependent on Aaron Rodgers not being completely cooked after his Achilles injury.
