Blake Lynch is a tryout player and is not part of the 90-man roster.
With the Seattle Seahawks badly lacking linebacker depth, the team has brought in a former Minnesota Vikings player. Seattle Times reporter Bob Condotta revealed on Wednesday that Blake Lynch has been added to minicamp as a tryout player. Other reported Seahawks mandatory minicamp tryouts are veteran wide receiver Robbie Chosen and UFL wide receiver Ty Scott of the DC Defenders.
He spent two seasons in Minnesota, having initially made the practice squad in his rookie season. Lynch saw some playing time in the final month of the regular season, then appeared in 16 games in 2021, including 218 defensive snaps and 342 special teams snaps. He recorded 35 tackles, an interception, and a pair of sacks and passes defensed. After staying on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad in 2022 and into 2023, Lynch played seven games with the Los Angeles Chargers.
