Lucas may not necessarily play all of the snaps, but he will be playing.
The final injury report is out for the Seattle Seahawks’ Week 11 rematch with the San Francisco 49ers. Outside of the shocking news of center Connor Williams’ retirement, the main news for the Seahawks is who they’re getting back. Wide receiver DK Metcalf is back in business after spraining his MCL against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. Metcalf missed the last two games as a result of his injury. Right tackle Abe Lucas has no injury designation after fully practicing on Thursday and Friday.
Mike Macdonald did indicate that Lucas will be on a snap count, in which case rookie Michael Jerrell would likely sub in for a few series. Tight ends Noah Fant and Brady Russell are both out, so the Seahawks will likely look at elevating either N’Keal Harry or Tyler Mabry from the practice squad. No other Seahawks player carries a game designation, so that’s great news coming out of the bye week.
