Sea's Shopee opens new distribution center in Brazil

REUTERS/Edgar SuSAO PAULO - Shopping app Shopee has opened a new distribution center in Brazil, the second-largest of the nine it owns in the country, the company said on Wednesday.
Shopee, owned by Singapore's Sea, established a marketplace in Brazil in 2020 in its first foray outside of Asia and now claims over three million local merchants in the country who account for more than 90% of the firm's sales nationally.
