Today marks the first day of the SDSU campus mask mandate for students and staff. Despite the CDC now requiring masks only for those potentially exposed to the virus, SDSU is requiring masks for all classes--even those held outside. Full story:
SAN DIEGO – Despite the recent decision by the CDC to relax pandemic guidelines, San Diego State University has still chosen to impose a mask mandate for the first few weeks of classes.
The mask mandate begins a week before classes start on Aug. 15. Students, faculty and staff have all been required to wear masks during instructional hours, even if they take place outdoors.
