Matt Shakman Talks Fantastic Four at SDCC 2024
Summary San Diego Comic-Con gave Marvel fans a lot of news to digest, one of which is the reveal of the title of 2025's Fantastic Four film, Fantastic 4: First Steps. The exclusive footage, which was filmed just for SDCC Hall H attendees, showcases the 1960s aesthetic. The title reveal comes just three days before the cast, comprised of Pedro Pascal , Vanessa Kirby , and Ebon Moss-Bachrach , is set to film.
Matt Shakman, who also directed the well-received WandaVision, will be directing Fantastic Four: First Steps. He has also directed episodes of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, The Boys, Game of Thrones, and The Great. There is no doubt he is a talented director who will bring something fresh to these characters, which is what Marvel fans are hoping for. Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to be released on July 25, 2025.
