Six New Jersey will compete against 225 other kids in the annual Scripps spelling bee

He says that his “family loves to visit Disney World and has been there eight times so far.”a 14 year-old eighth grader from Hackensack and an Englewood Cliffs Upper School student. Ke says that he “plays piano and got to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2019.”a 13-year-old seventh grader from Jersey City and a Frank R. Conwell Middle School student. Jakasania says that she “loves math and history.
”9-year-old fourth grader from Maplewood and a Mount Pleasant Elementary School student. She is one of the youngest kids competing in the spelling bee. Khambhati says that she “ran a 5K when she was 8 and plays saxophone in her school band.”13-year-old seventh grader from Maplewood and a Maarif School student. Belkouchi says that she ”is studying Arabic, Turkish and Japanese, and she won a spelling bee competition in Arabic this year.
