Gregory Nussen is the Lead Film Critic for Screen Rant, with previous bylines for Deadline, Slant, Backstage, Salon and more.

Capitalist satires, cat-and-mouse capers, and forays into multiverse madness dot this week's movie review roundup. A smaller week than our usual fare, but that just means its easier to catch up! As always, be sure to follow our team of critics, post your own thoughts, and look out for our upcoming coverage of Slamdance, SXSW and more.

Each review below has a trailer, an excerpt and a link to read the whole piece! Hellfire Richard Lowry's script is bare bones, but mostly in a way that allows space for the main attraction, which is Lang, sweaty, bloodied and broken, to mow down scores of bad dudes. It's not complicated.Redux Redux A stirring, emotionally resonant and crackling lo-fi sci-fi thriller, Redux Redux takes us along the romantically nihilistic path of Irene Kelly .This is Not a Test In the end, one is left wondering what exactly audiences are meant to take away from the This Is Not A Test experience beyond stylish blood splatter and a sharp punk-rock soundtrack. How to Make a Killing A surprisingly bland film that somehow manages to dampen even Glen Powell's usual brand of effortless charm, How to Make a Killing is sketched together with thin characterizations, limp commentary and a sluggish pace.Midwinter Break It's difficult to say exactly what Findlay wants us to take away from this story of a standard acquiescent couple in decline, with whatever commentary she means to impart far too hidden. The Witch Despite some of its foibles, it's hard to deny just how impressive Eggers was in his debut with The Witch.Psycho Killer Psycho Killer is goofy and totally unserious, chockablock with poorly executed tropes, embarrassingly bad computerized CGI blood splatter and student film-like awkwardness in performance. It's almost shocking this is a major studio film. The Projectionist Spearheaded by veteran character actor Vondie Curtis-Hall in one of his finest performances to date and shot in warm chiaroscuro by Sam Motamedi, The Projectionist is strange, haunting, elegiac and thoroughly transportive.
