The indie-rock band delivered a night to remember at the 02 Academy
Scouse musicians have never been afraid to stand out from the crowd - and emerging indie-rock band Stone also look primed to ruffle a few feathers.
The first time he stopped for breath, Fin admitted to the crowd he had “gone fancy” and had swapped drinking beer on stage for white wine to combat burping. Drawing laughs and applause from the crowd, the Wavertree-born musician set out to prove his energy for ferocious music had not been impacted by the change.Stone’s quartet of musicians all pulled their weight in delivering a night that Liverpool’s indie fans will remember for years to come.
Fin also spoke movingly of losing his grandfather, and praised his fellow band members for delivering amazing music, only pausing his mesmerising routine to take sips of chardonnay. He said the band had waited “their whole f****** lives for this”, and they certainly didn’t disappoint on their big night.
