The Scottish Government will decide whether a housing development in Coatbridge should be allowed to proceed.

Rather than agree a later date for the committee to make their decision, the developer took the alternative option of lodging an appeal on the basis that the case had been undetermined by the local authority.officers had recommended the committee refuse the application as they deemed it did contravened local policy and would result in the loss of open space to the detriment of wildlife and residents.
