The Scottish Government is set to release thousands of WhatsApp messages relating to the coronavirus pandemic after receiving a legal order from the UK Covid Inquiry.
The Scottish Government insisted it would share text messages but claimed it required a formal Section 21 order to be issued by the inquiry in order to do so.
