The World Cup may be the main event in Boston for the next month, but between matches, Scotland fans, known as the 'Tartan Army,' are finding ways to celebrate.
That includes a trip to Fenway Park. Many of the Scotland fans visiting Fenway had never been there before and were looking to get the full Boston experience.
"If you're going to do baseball, then Fenway Park. It's got the history," said Chris, who traveled to Boston for the World Cup.
"Even if you know nothing about the sport, nothing about the game, the Boston Red Sox are one of the biggest teams in the MLB and it's Fenway. ""I've wanted to come here for years. I can't wait. I'm really excited," said Andy, a Scotland supporter visiting family from Westerly.
An estimated 5,000 to 10,000 members of Scotland's fanbase marched to Fenway Park, many making their first visit to the historic stadium.
"Enjoy sport in America ... going to Fenway Park, the oldest baseball stadium. Looking forward to it," said Grahame and Scott.
"Very little, very little," Liam Dunn said when asked how much he knew about the sport. "I played baseball on the Wii when I was younger. ""I've been in three different bars today. There has been no beer left at them because Scottish people have drank it all," Andy joked.
Even with the Red Sox struggling this season, Scotland supporters said they were ready to bring the atmosphere they're known for.
