A SCOTTISH charity supporting children and adults affected by childhood sexual abuse has been given a four-figure boost.
Already, the charity has been able to raise £11,000 of the £17,000 needed for a project that will offer play and art sessions for children and young people.Gillian Urquhart, director of the Moira Anderson Foundation, said: “We are so delighted. The donation will make such a difference to the clients we support, with each year since 2000 we have had an increase in referrals.
“Your support assists in making it possible for us to provide therapy and counselling to children and young people who have been affected by childhood sexual abuse.“Supporting the charity means that we can continue to offer this invaluable service to clients.”
