A brave Scots soldier fighting on the frontline in Ukraine says he is “lucky to be alive” after he was hit by shrapnel in a Russian bomb blast

The left side of Adam's body is covered in puncture wounds from where he was hit by shrapnel. Further wounds can be seen behind Adam's ear, and on his neck where the shrapnel entered and lodged in his throat. "Luckily all my boys are alive and will live to fight another day." He bravely added: "Nothing can stop me getting to Odessa."
