Detectives appeal for information on Richard Scatchard, a Scottish sex offender wanted in connection with the murder of his partner. Scatchard has been missing since the day after the death of Kelly Faiers, and Avon and Somerset Police are treating her death as murder. Scatchard, who was previously jailed for sex offences, has now been included on Crimewatch Live's "Wanted Faces" section.

Detectives hunting for Richard Scatchard, 71, used the long-running BBC programme to make an appeal for information. There have been no confirmed sightings of Scatchard since he disappeared the day after Kelly Faiers, 61, died at his home in Minehead, Somerset, in October Her death on October 15 is being treated as murder.
Avon and Somerset Police spoke to Scatchard immediately after Ms Faiers was found but when they returned the next day to ask him more questions he was not there. Scatchard, originally from Newton Mearns, Renfrewshire, was jailed for life in 2000 for sex offences which involved administering drugs to his victims and had been freed from prison on licence. He has now been included on Crimewatch Live's "Wanted Faces" section in a bid to track him down. Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding said: "Richard Scatchard also goes by the name Richard Dunlop
