Serial rapist jailed for attacks on teen girls could be freed after two years
A SERIAL rapist caged for attacks on teen girls could be freed after just two and a half years.Lambie was jailed after attacking three teenage girlsHe targeted his first victim when he was 12 and she 11.And he was on bail when he throttled a 13-year-old during a sex attack at a flat in Bathgate, West Lothian, in 2019.
A source close to a victim’s family said: “The public need to know that this guy could be considered for release even though his crimes have escalated each time. “The last victim’s parents believe that if they hadn’t picked her up when they did, she wouldn’t be alive today. “There are other victims who didn’t want to go through the court process. Parole shouldn’t even be considered. He should be doing five years as an absolute minimum.”
The victims joined the Victim Notification Scheme which means they must be told of any upcoming parole hearings.
