A Scots grandad is planning to take his pals on a dream trip after pocketing more than £1 million on the People’s Postcode Lottery. Army veteran and ex-cop David Crowder, 62, was left stunned when he found out his £1.2 million bumper prize was the biggest ever in Scotland.
Dad-of-two David landed the whopping windfall with 10 neighbours in his close-knit housing estate in Bridge of Earn, Perthshire, after PH2 9FG won Postcode Lottery’s monthly Millions prize on Saturday. David said: “It is beyond anyone’s wildest dreams. I’m overwhelmed, flabbergasted, blown away. My legs feel like jelly and I’ve got a lump in my throat.
He said: “They’ll be benefitting from this. I’ll share it with my family because that’s what I’ve always done. Stewart, 65, said: “My ex-partner Robert died two years ago of a brain tumour. He left his two dogs for me to look after and they’ve also passed away.
