Paul Lawrie, 53, was flabbergasted when he spotted a corn snake in his aunt's flat in Musselburgh on Saturday.
A Scots dad was left terrified after he found a 4ft snake in his late aunt's kitchen sink while clearing out her flat.
The pair were left shocked after Paul walked over to the scaly intruder - and "immediately" backed away after touching the reptile and realising it was a real snake. "The last time I saw a snake was in the zoo 30 years ago. It was quite the shock to see it in my aunt's kitchen basin!"
