Lee Nightingale, 27, ploughed into Dean Watt in a car after an argument between them turned violent and Mr Watt threw a punch. Nightingale was previously involved in a nightclub attack that left another man's ear hanging off.

Nightingale was crowned Western District Champion in 2010 and won Bronze at the British Championships in 2010 and 2011.
