SCOTRAIL has issued an update to customers as some services from Glasgow are set to be affected by strike action.
Workers who are members of RMT will strike today, while train drivers who are members of Aslef will walk out tomorrow. The majority of ScotRail services will not be affected by the strikes as they do not involve the operator's staff.However, services between Glasgow Central and Dumfries and Carlisle will be affected due to trains dispatching at Carlisle station.The strike action taking place on Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd June doesn’t involve any ScotRail staff, & the vast majority of our services will run as planned.
