Steve Clarke's Scotland squad will reportedly split a near-seven-figure prize pool after qualifying for Euro 2024.
The national team sealed qualification to the tournament finals in Germany next year after Spain's win over Norway.
It's claimed a near £1m pot will be shared amongst players who have been involved and payments will be dished out on a scale dependent on individual involvement.Manager Clark and his backroom team - including John Carver, Austin MacPhee, James Morrison, Chris Woods and Graeme Jones are also expected to pocket bonus cash for the achievement.
On qualification to the Euro 24 finals in Germany, Clarke commented: “I would like to congratulate the players for their efforts in qualifying for back-to-back tournaments. I’m not sure they will fully realise the significance of their achievement yet but to qualify for successive EUROS after more than 20 years is phenomenal and testament to their hard work.
