The international break is upon us but who is going to step up and be the hero that fires us to Germany?
Steve Clarke has given Rodri and co a major warning after The Tartan Army roared his side to a shock victory at Hampden - and they will know all too well the threat that could be posed in Madrid. After defeat to England confidence within the Scotland camp may have taken a dent, but the table doesn't lie with our boys leading the group ahead of the former world champions.
There are never many changes in Clarke's squad these days, why would you mess with a winning formula after all, and it's the same this time out with the vast bulk of the group unchanged. Kieran Tierney's absence though is a major blow and the big question being asked of Clarke is how will he change it up to compensate? Greg Taylor has been in fine form for Celtic and might hope to factor in.
As for the midfield, Billy Gilmour's rapid rise with Brighton has plateaued somewhat but he could still play a key role alongside Callum McGregor - unless Lewis Ferguson's superb Bologna form can force him in for a start. Scott McTominay meanwhile showed Manchester United what they've been missing and he's expected to be in again.
Here Record Sport take a look at how the Tartan Army heroes have been faring heading into a massive double-header.
