Not your usual visitor to Blackpool beach
But there appears to be another reason to give parts of the Fylde coast a wide berth, after scores of giant jellyfish were seen washed up on the sand today .
The wobbly creatures were spotted on Central beach in the seaside resort, apparently caught in the tide.. Almost 50 swimmers - including children - have been spotted in the water.wastewater treatment works. This carries water to the sea after it has been treated and cleaned.
