A dad who hosted a Mod and Soul event in Lanarkshire has raised more than £8000 for a charity that supports autistic people.

Paul said: “This is the third event I’ve hosted for the National Autistic Society, it was totally sold out and it was just great that so many people attended again and helped the fundraising effort.
“They are great at spreading awareness and like most charities they rely on donations. They’ve been an amazing back-up for my family with knowledge and advice. Paul added: “I’m absolutely delighted that we beat our target of £3000 and managed to raise more than £4000. As the parent of an autistic child, it’s so important to me that organisations like the National Autistic Society are there advocating for autistic people and their families.”
