Columbus Crew goalkeeper Patrick Schulte has been called up to the U.S. Men’s National Team for a pair of high-profile friendlies this month, the club announced Sunday. Schulte joins Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for matches against Belgium and Portugal as the United States enters the final stretch of preparations for this summer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper joins fellow Crew teammate Max Arfsten on the national roster. The U.S. is scheduled to face Belgium on March 28 and Portugal on March 31, with both matches held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Schulte has become a rising fixture in the national program, earning three caps since his senior debut in early 2024.
