High School Cross Country
High-school athletes have been reaching the finish line at four different cross country events throughout September.
Taras Beveridge-Warick – Grade 9. Brother of Angelina, Taras, is a speed skater who has won both his mini-meet races in intermediate boys this season. “To grow in love for the running and transition to other high school sports this year and team building.” “Our team has almost doubled in size, and we hope that trend shows in our provincial athletes as well. Hoping to send between seven to 10 athletes to Regina.”“The 2023 running season will be a developmental season. Returning Souls Graham Farthing and Arnold Whittet have the experience and leadership to positively impact the season for all runners.”Yerosen Daba – Grade 12. Reigning provincial champion.Payton Halabura – Grade 12. Top-10 provincial finalist.Jayda Codling – Grade 12.
